My husband just bought an iPhone. We have the book to it, and we've done what it says. We hook up the USB cable, but it keeps saying the computer doesn't recognize it, or there is a malfunction. I've checked on the computer and it says the port is working fine. Is there some reason why our windows media player won't put the songs on there?

There's an application on iTunes that is a graphing calculator for the iPhone. I'm pretty sure its the same thing. I am taking Algebra this year, and I want to know if you think that's okay to have instead of the actual calculator. I only have to use the calculator at home, as we have our own class set.

I'm getting an iPhone 3G for Christmas and was just wondering what's the difference between the wireless and the 3G features on it? With 3G, can you go on the internet while your out and you don't need a connection. Whereas with wireless, you can only use it at home with a wireless router? And after a year, you have to pay for 3G internet on the iPhone don't you? But is the wireless internet free? Thanks.

I recently wiped my computer and downloaded itunes again, but i made sure to backup my files before wiping my computer. I bought new songs on my iphone, and i downloaded a song that is on itunes on my computer. I want to sync the song on itunes to the stuff that is already on my phone, without deleting the new songs that i just bought. does anyone know how to do that?

Just a few hours ago, I droped my iPhone from about 1ft and the screen suffered a minor crack. Now, I say minor because it's only in the corner of the screen and I can still see everything plus touching it still works. It's just like a see-through crack. What do I do to get it repaired because I've no insurance on it or no warrenty. It's the 16 gig.
